Oh there’s a love song Playing on the radio I listen, it’s made of candies It’s just hypocrisy Now there’s a hate song It’s violent and dark and cool I listen, it’s made of steroids And false virility Now tonight we’re tryin’ to innovate We’re bored of goin’ along with majority Alone and unaware You tried to have your say No one came to tell you How to be creative Here, faithful to your songs I'm tryin’ to give ‘em life I’m singing with simple words Your musical visions. Now tonight we’re tryin’ to innovate And oh, I feel we’re one when we start to play We won’t chase some dream or lose our face ‘Cause our only aim’s the aesthetic faith we create Tonight we’re sailing through your souls We’ll let unwise brains breath our thoughts Behold the wasting of the world! It’s shattered! Your humble guts will tremble at the noise of our loud mourning howls about the desert in your minds It's with creativity we'll tear you away from apathy I’m sure illiteracy is draggin’ us in a dead-end street You fear who walks next to us and don’t regret your selfishness. We try with inventiveness to tear you away from your cynicism.

Still waiting alone here I am bored. People walking around Still waiting to go away I can't leave. Rain is making me tired Everything's wet and worst Let me sleep a minute more People don't care and walk It's crazy I feel I'm losing control Still waiting to try To escape from this jail of rain

One intense fear Help me I’m here I try to take my time To calm the fears I’ve got in my head The pictures and sounds of void I'm afraid, they're making me die! I'm what you see But now I’m free Your mind is what you need I believe that you could be safe Don't you see you're goin' insane? Everything is making you cry! Why should I leave you alone? Who do you want to become? Why should I turn aside? Why do you think that I’m blind? (Waiting so long, I know you’re gone Waiting so long, I’m gone) Why is your faith so blind to make you feel that Love is well and alive? His time is done and we're alone and you see: this fiction is not what we need as we die! As we die! As we die! As we die! Save me, girl, from darkness And calm my heart I am sick of the sight of his face I am here to cry, to die... That’s what I mean It’s six years since I have known your voice Four years of love Before my angels went silent Tonight there’s only me I want to know what your eyes say I try to know who I am I fear I’ve lost what you gave me and again It’s pain! I’d love you to say “Dear, I’m here to stay…” What makes you afraid? I am here to stay

I am rich and safe, why should I believe in what you say? I don’t need to be the one that tries to change the world in vain. (He’s gonna break) I am poor and scared, and I am going to die ignored and sad. It’s something to be said, my ugly life’s been wasted and ashamed. All my angels fall So move on your way! Refuse to obey!
6.
I’m among those ones who’re afraid of what’s to come. Our future is uncertain, our path is still unknown. I can't tolerate those prophets who keep shoutin’ on TV: “You will make it, my good friend. Don’t worry, vote for me.” I’ve never found that easy to understand a way to free everyone’s fredoom and let anyone stay. I can’t tolerate stupidity and ignorance today. It’s wastin’ all the world. The pope should know this well… I’m waitin’ life to tell me all my faults, to tell me when I’ve betrayed what I thought. Don’t waste your time and try to understand a way to change the world by doing what you can. Around our lives there’s a world that lives a cultural decline. People don’t seem to understand the hell we’re fallin’ in. They’re sellin’ what they can. I’m waitin’ life to tell me all my faults, to tell me when I’ve betrayed what I thought. Don’t waste your time and try to understand: we’re fallin’ into HELL and WE JUST WON’T BE SAVED.

Strange is the rain It surrounds my brain Now here it comes again It’s all like your tears They fall down for years I say “was it all for her?” Scream that you’re so far Scream “are your hands to blame?” Scream “are my own words uncertain?” Strange is the rain It surrounds my head Now here it comes again It’s all like your fears Blood in my tears You say “I don’t know my hands…” Scream that you’re so far Scream “are your hands to blame?” Scream “are my own words making my soul burn?” making my soul burn It slow burns It slow burns Scream that you’re so far Scream “are your hands to blame?” Scream “are my own words making my soul burn?” making my soul burn (You’re just a fool!) It slow burns It slow burns

about

North by Northwest Rome, Italy

North by Northwest reveals itself in long compositions, sophisticated vocal and guitar harmonies, epic melodies, refined chord sequences, violent outbursts and calm atmospheres. It owes these virtues to the most elegant progressive rock, to post-rock and post-metal, to grunge and various forms of alternative rock.

Its first full-length album is titled "Mirrors To Remind Ourselves Who We Are".
